"First, Last and Deposit" CD Two Tina
Lear tunes are featured on the new compilation cd, "First,
Last, and Deposit," proceeds of which will benefit Noel
House, an organization that helps homeless women secure
affordable housing. Songs from 14 Northwest women
singer-songwriters make up this project. It begins with
"Raise Your Voice," and ends with "The Road Home," (both
from my third cd by the same name). All the tunes speak
poignantly to the issues at hand. In my opinion, "Don't Give
Up" by Kym Tuvim, is worth the price of the cd all by
itself.

"Cathy's Creek" Is Full of
Fish! This
year, "Cathy's Creek" (book and lyrics Elise Forier, music
and lyrics Tina Lear) was selected for development by the
2002-2003 Waldo M. and Grace C. Bonderman National Youth
Theatre Playwriting Competition and Development Workshop. On
April 11th, after a week-long workshop, it was presented in
a polished reading at the tenth Youth Theatre Playwriting
Symposium held at the Indiana Repertory Theatre. An
instantaneous standing ovation heralded a rich future for
this wonderful show.
Now, theatres in Minnesota,
Arizona, Texas and Los California are interested in this
project!
